Legislature of the European Federation by HouseOfHesse Legislature of the European Federation by HouseOfHesse
This is the first of my follow-up maps to my Map of the European Federation. This map details the structure of the legislative bodies of the federation, and the distribution of members of parliament in the federation. It also provides insight into the federation's demographics.
As always, comments, criticisms, questions and friendly discussions are welcome!

Oh gosh, I would bump it up even more.  The fewer the people per representative the better the representation.  It would especially well in Europe where there are already a lot of single issue or limited issue parties forming coalition governments so people running on purely local issues wouldn't seem so odd.

Haha, that's my mild optimism showing through! I'm hoping the likes of UKIP get banished to the edges of politics for ever more, but alas, that seems increasingly unlikely.

Haha, I understand exactly what you mean! I can only imagine how silly British politics must look on the continent!
A significant portion of the British population is very pro-EU, but sadly we're drowned out by a lot of folk gullibly swept up by the pseudo-nationalism of the likes of The Sun and The Daily Mail, which UKIP et al tap into. I promise we're not all nationalist loons! I know a lot of people, such as myself, will be very sad if we leave the EU, which I think I'm having to accept now as an inevitability, but alas. Hopefully they'll see their mistake and Europe will be kind enough to take us back! :D (Big Grin)

Yea, would be sad a EU without Britons. Expecially because you Britons have a so important role our common European history. It would feel like Germany without Bavaria, ore Spain without Andalusia.
Also a lot of People here start to dislike brittish Politicans. ( Not that everything that Brucelles decides is great -.-), but the common pictue is that yours are against everything we decide in Brucelles. Especially now after the Economy and Euro Crisies. A lot of People suffer in the southern States, and all our goverments had to pay a lot,  but there were almost no consequences against the Banks. Financial Transaction tax, common european Economy policy, strict Bank rules? No :( Not as long London has a word to say. We're starting (inclidung me, sry) to see London as a Wallstreet outpost in Europe. And a lot of People here got mad after the blokade of cameron. His threat to leave the Union is somhow ridiculous. The Top rated comments to his Quote were ( 'May i Show you the door cameron' or 'just go and be silent, will you please' ) etc.
So maybe it is even necessary to leave the Union. As long the neoliberalists rule in London and got Brucelles as scapegoat to bame everything, they make your live harder as well as ours. So let's hope that if you leave, your getting a less Wallstreet tributaryd goverment, and in the meantime we're using the weakened Banking influence in Brucelles to make some neccessary Changes.
... and after that, we hopefully join together again as one better Europe, than it is today :)

Wow, you really put a lot of thought into that. But...over 900 million inhabitants? Isn't that a lot? Today, in 2014 the entire EU has about 500 million people. Even if you you would take Turkey and entire Russia into it, you would only get to about 750 million people or so, or? And since most nations in Europe have a dropping fertility rate, it is unlikely for Europe to reach such a high population. Anyway, really interesting concept.

Well according to Wikipedia, the EU's growth rate is 0.16%, and that's excluding the likes of Turkey and Iceland where it's much higher. It's only really the former Warsaw Pact that have dropping population growth, with the exception of Moldova, so when one applies the 0.16% cumulatively, and if one takes immigration and such into account, I don't think 900million is *too* far off! (Maybe a tad optimistic, but not too much)
